FanConnect powers Charlotte Hornets in-house TV sales

To close a deal with new sponsor Mercedes-Benz last off-season, the Charlotte Hornets turned to digital advertising software created by a local firm. As a result, 250 TVs scattered through the NBA franchise’s arena now include custom sponsor messages and ads while sharing the arena TV monitors with live game video.
Known as FanConnect, the hardware and software gives teams and venues the ability to add advertising and other messages to the monitors in arena suites, private clubs, elevators and near the concession stands. With as many as 40 channels within the building, the Bobcats can tailor what fans see, depending where they are inside the arena.
